Reunion 2024

September 23-27, 2024

Our membership voted to go to San Antonion, Texas for our 2024 reunion.  The planning is complete for our reunion with the agenda being shown below.  Scott Woodard, member and AMEDD Museum Historian put together tours of the Alamo afterhours, the AMEDD museum as well as being able to watch today's medics training using various simulations.  Additionally, we have time allocated for you to enjoy San Antonio and the surrounding area.

            1800-2000 Alamo Tour--Private Tour

Wednesday Sept 25th

            0700  Meet in Conference Room

                    Carpool to Fort Sam Houston

            0800-0915  Paramedic Training on Human Simulator

            0915-1030 Paramedic Training in a UH-60 Simulator

            10145-1145 Hosted Lunch in the Ft Sam dining facility with Command GP

            12-00-1430 AMEDD Museum-Private Tour

Thursday Sept 26th

            0800-Meet in conference room for hosted tour-Carpool to Fredericksburg-1.5 hours

            0930-National Museum of the Pacific War

            After Museum Tour-Free Time to Shop and explore Fredericksburg

Friday Sept 27th

            0900-Meet in conference room for tour--$10 donation to be collected prior to leaving the hotel

Hotel Information

Our hotel of choice is the Holiday Inn, San Antonio Riverwalk

Room Rate is $139 per night plus taxes.  They do charge $17 per night

When calling for reservations, call 210-224-2500 and ask for Vietnam Dustoff Association Group booking.

Hotel reservations made after August 27, 2024 will be provided on a space available basis at the Hotel's current selling rate.
